Totally Enormous Extinclt Dinosaurs (TEED) is gearing up to release his first single of 2012, Tapes & Money. It will be the fourth single released as a precursor to a debut album, scheduled for release this summer. The track is instantaneously catchy and will get the official single treatment in April. Below is an edited version of the track.

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs – Garden

September 15, 2011

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs have released a new video, featuring a new girl, for his new(ish) single, Garden (first released last year). This will be the second single (we reviewed Trouble here) since being signed to Polydor and it will be included on his debut LP, due to drop sometime next year. We prefer this video version in all it’s weird psychedelic splender and dig the Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) mix, that will be part of the single package.

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs – Trouble

June 7, 2011

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs is actually the genius of adorkable, Orlando Higginbottom. His new video, Trouble, begins fantastically as the opening sequence of a movie, set in a seemingly sleepy town in the 80s, and quickly introduces us to a ragtag group of odd house guests. T.E.E.D. appears intentionally dispondent in his own video, casually aware of his increasingly absurd surroundings. Things kick up a notch when he starts wearing a bizarre head contraction that look likes a torture device from the Saw film franchise and everything takes a turn towards the psychedelic. You can think of the video as David Lynch interpreted by Tiga.
