Moullinex, with the help of electro goddess Peaches, has set out to update one of the cheesiest songs of the 80s, Maniac. The track, originally by Michael Sembello, was used for the “dancer” film, Flashdance. For their video, the dancer is now a stripper and although the intent was to make it sexy, we confess we were grossed out by it, but couldn’t look away, in a car wreck kind of way. Regardless, although we never much cared for the original, Moullinex‘s version has been growing on us. What do you think?
