Gus Gus goes dreamy and melodic in a Saint Etienne kind of way for their mix of Bang Bang‘s, Sacred Things. Although the remix was completed in 1999, it is only now that it has been made public. Best of all, Gus Gus has made it a guilt-free download.

We have always had a soft spot for Icelandic art collective/band, GusGus, who are back with the very clubby sounding, Over, whose progressive beats and sultry lyrics remind us of what our beloved, The Beloved may have sounded like if they were still producing music. It is quite a feat that this band has been around for 15 years, and whose always evolving sound has never sounded stale. We think it may have to do with lead singer, Daniel August, whose sensual voice simply melts us into the sublime.
