Infectious like a virus and with such massive mounds of irony that we can’t recall a era post Soft Cell that an electronic band so gleefully embraced it, that we initially weren’t certain if London’s A Terrible Splendour were in on their own joke. They are, which makes Victimless Crime even more genius for it. Needless to say, we take to this kind of stuff like a cat takes to catnip and anticipate overplaying this, ad nauseum, for some time (with or without with wine). On an unrelated note, does anyone else think female vocalist, MM Lyle channels Alison Moyet here?!
