Toronto’s Austra have released a video for Spellwork, our favorite track off their critically acclaimed debut album, Feel It Break. The video finds vocalist Katie Stelmanis brewing about, intentionally hiding her visage behind hair and other objects/people. With all these witchery shenanigans we worry she won’t give good face, but delivers by the end, just in time to partake with her female coven for a very messy… and very erotic, watermelon eating food fest. I can see the Fox News headline now, “Lesbian goths arrested at Renaissance fair for loitering and engaging in satanic pagan rituals.”
