Jessica 6 is a Brooklyn-based Nu-disco band, formed after working on a Hercules and Love Affair show. Their name is derived from character in the cult novel Logan’s Run (whose 1970s movie’s adaption is one of our favorite guilty pleasures). They have met critical and minor commercial success with their previous single, White Horse. They are back and in top form with a new video for Prisoner Of Love featuring the always incredible, Antony Hegarty. To hear lead singer Nomi Ruiz and Hegarty duet together is simply sublime as their voices compliment each other perfectly. It’s an excellent single choice taken from an excellent debut album.
