New Zealand born, Bachelorette (a/k/a, Annabel Alpers) is back with Blanket, the third single off her wonderful, self titled, third album. Blanket is a hazy, synth-laden track with ice cool vocals and psychedelic delivery that sounds like something School of Seven Bells would do if they were contributing tracks off of Goldfrapp‘s Supernature album. We love that Bachelorette refuses to color within the lines, and yet makes wonderfully weird, cohesive music (Are you hearing us Bjork?), that is instantly accessible.
