The buzz has been building and we now have an official video for Brigitte Fontaine and Grace Jones‘ Dancefloor. I first wrote about this a month ago and it has become one of the most viewed posts on this site. Brigitte Fontaine is a french avant-garde singer, writer, actress and poet who has amassed quite a body of work in her 70+ years. Grace needs no introduction and has recorded some of the greatest dance songs of all time. Sadly neither appear in the video and are only represented by silk screen inspired paintings and nonconsensually placed stickers. But fret not, this song stands on its own terms. Enjoy.
